01
The standing book
Every ruling Jim has ever made — every price, every boundary, every “never again” — is written down once, in one book. Every version of the machine reads that book fresh, every time. He said it once; it's law everywhere. He forgets freely. The book doesn't.
02
If-then rules
Decisions are made once, calmly, in advance — then applied a thousand times without waking him. The newest rule grades everything the machine runs: if it's good, grow it. If it's less than good — fix it once, park it with a reason, or kill it. Nothing just lingers.
03
The gates
Almost everything, the machine does on its own. Three things always stop and wait for Jim's tap: money going out, anything legal in his name, and anything only a person standing in a room can do. Those never graduate, no matter how good the machine gets.
04
The crew
Keeper chats each mind a territory — systems, shops, videos, freelance work, people and faith. Behind them, a night crew of hundreds of small recurring jobs does the repetitive work: checking for sales, watching prices, refreshing what's stale.
05
The boards
Before anything important ships, five reviewers argue about it in separate rooms — an operator, a money seat, a guardian, a growth seat, and a skeptic whose whole job is to say “prove it.” They never see each other's answers. Only what survives the argument reaches Jim.
06
Receipts, or it didn't happen
Every claim has to point at proof — a record, a number, a page that was actually checked. When a number can't be verified, the machine has to say “unverified” out loud rather than present it as fact. The real numbers carry receipts; the rest carry a warning label.
